Sierra Tucson needed immediate safety renovations to an active detoxification unit to allow them to continue to serve clients. The project also consisted of the modern, high end renovations. The renovation of 16 other patient rooms, two lobbies and multiple office spaces were added to the project scope during the initial six-week construction project.

ALPA in coordination with Stengel Hill Architecture found and recommended high end and anti-ligature fixtures and finishes which could be procured quickly. Throughout the project ALPA took a proactive approach to prevent unscheduled disruptions to the facility. ALPA and their strong subcontractor and self-perform work base worked efficiently around the clock to complete the project on schedule to meet the client’s needs.

ALPA’s strong knowledge of ICRA and patient environments allowed work to continue safely with minimal disruption to patients and staff. The six-bedroom unit was completed in five weeks, a week ahead of schedule. Since opening Dancing Sun has become a highlight of the beautiful Sierra Tucson Campus.
